Truliner
Original & New Formulas: Denture Reline

To achieve the best results follow these recommended techniques.

 TECHNIQUE

    a) Remove denture from patient's mouth. Thoroughly scrub denture with soap and water. Prior to relining, dye tissue side of denture with Reline Prep. Reline Prep will dye a uniform layer of old acrylic. This makes it possible to remove that uniform layer of old acrylic to achieve maximum bonding of the reline material. Bur or sand the periphery to freshen tissue surface of denture. Extend the peripheral border by 2mm to provide greater edge strength and bond.

    b) With Bosworth's Masque coat all surfaces not to be bonded including all acrylic teeth, interproximal areas, outside of denture, opposing denture, any acrylic fillings, jackets, or bridges and lips and cheek. Use of Masque will facilitate easy removal of Original or New Truliner.

c) Pour one full measure of liquid (glass vial) in mixing cup. Slowly add one full measure of powder (plastic vial) so it absorbs liquid as you pour. Mix gently, but thoroughly, with cement spatula until a uniform consistency is achieved. Do not over spatulate - 20 to 30 seconds is adequate.

    d) With a brush or cotton swab, moisten bonding surface with NEW TRULINER bonding liquid. Apply the thin mix of TRULINER to all surfaces to be bonded. Continue to add a heavier layer as the material thickens until denture is loaded, including periphery and postdam, if desired.

e)The proper time for insertion into the mouth is determined by testing the residue of the mix in the cup. When material is sluggish, dull looking, and just about flows from the spatula, the denture is ready for insertion, approximately 2 or 3 minutes after placing material on the denture. Rinse the mouth with cold water and place denture. Have patient close to align occlusion.

    f) Both kits provide the opportunity to mix and match and create new designs.
