In 1912, the Bosworth Company was established under the management of Harry J. Bosworth. Harry provided dentists with practice management and sound advice concerning daily business activities for their offices. In 1956, the Bosworth family sold the company. Under new ownership, the Bosworth Company continued procedures initiated by Harry, but shifted the focus of Bosworth toward the sale of dental materials.

 
Today, Bosworth is a woman-owned business that remains committed to the dental industry and its growth. The Bosworth product line is a strong blend of time-proven classics, together with many new innovations such as the introduction of the Aegis® with Amorphous Calcium Phosphate line of products. The Bosworth Company was granted sublicensing of this polymeric amorphous calcium phosphate technology in 2003. Aegis Pit and Fissure Sealant was the first product introduced (Spring '04) with Aegis Orthodontic Adhesive, and Aegis Crown and Bridge (Fall '04) following its lead.

In May 2005, the Bosworth Company received a prestigious award from the Federal Laboratory Consortium (FLC), recognizing its excellence on behalf of the Aegis with Amorphous Calcium Phosphate products; the very first of the breakthroughs in calcium phosphate remineralizing technology, exclusively for dental prevention and restoration. Bosworth was the only dental company whose achievements were recognized this year.

Bosworth is an ISO 9000 and ISO 13485 certified company, practicing specific standards to provide the highest level of quality and performance for all products manufactured. Bosworth continually stays at the brink of dental technology, developing top-quality products with the best service and value.

Bosworth is an active member of IADR/AADR, DTA, Oral Health America and a supporter of ADA Health Foundation, and the ADAA Foundation, staying in tune with the dental industry and its constant new developments. After 96 years, Bosworth continues to grow and innovate within the dental industry.
